Resilience 2024

I've called this painting “Resilience”. Sometimes, whilst experiencing anguish, loss, stress, taking a shower can feel quite restorative. As the hot water hits the back of my neck I feel a sense of relief, strengthening. With my eyes closed, I see the morning sun flicker across my face as if angels are fluttering in front of me. My cat used to sit outside the shower and bathe herself. Now she’s gone, Ra’Ra likes to pop by and surprise me. It always fills me with immense joy to open my eyes and find her there. Love and light xx We’re just in the process of printing proofs as “Resilience” has already been selected for an exhibition this Friday, 13th, in London. I’ll post details soon <3 

The original is on canvas, 92 x 122 cm. (4ft x 3ft) Acrylics and emulsions.

I can create prints close to the original size either on archival cotton canvas or archival paper.

Please note that actual print will vary slightly in colour from the picture here as screens vary so much. As each one is hand finished there is variation too.
