Resilience 2024

I’ve called this painting "Resilience." Sometimes, whilst experiencing anguish, loss, fear, betrayal, or anxiety, I take a shower. As the hot water hits the back of my neck, I feel a sense of restoration. Strengthening. I love to close my eyes and feel the morning sun dance across my face. It’s as if angels are fluttering around, telling me to keep moving. I catch my breath. My cat used to sit outside the shower and wash herself. Now that she’s gone, Ra’Ra likes to pop by to keep an eye on me. It always fills me with immense joy to open my eyes and find her there. <3 

The original is on canvas, 92 x 122 cm. (4ft x 3ft) Acrylics and emulsions.

I can create prints close to the original size either on archival cotton canvas or archival paper.

Please note that actual print will vary slightly in colour from the picture here as screens vary so much. As each one is hand finished there is variation too.
