El Duende (mystical, raw, evoked… et al)

Scenes appear in my mind from out of nowhere & I love to paint them. A spectacular white horse ridden by a mythical Knightess attired in skeletal styled armour, a white eagle by her side. Her reflective, mirroring armour shining clear boundaries. Fiercely focused & disciplined, not impenetrable yet self-assured. Her trusted hounds watching out for her. An opportunity for me to immortalize my Salukis again <3

Each painting leads me to specific music. Moya Brennan’s, “Two Horizons”, took me to the most perfect, enchanted, ethereal, dreamlike places. Then I happened upon Rosalia’s “LUX”, WOW! Both women, effortlessly transcending into otherworldly realms.

The original is on canvas, 92 x 122 cm. (4ft x 3ft) Acrylics and emulsions.

I can create prints close to the original size either on archival cotton canvas or archival paper.

Please note that actual print will vary slightly in colour from the picture here as screens vary so much. As each one is hand finished there is variation too.
